We are seeking a Business Development Executive responsible for executing sales growth strategies and activities within the General Trade category. The role focuses on delivering sustainable and profitable growth for retailers.

A day in the life of a Business Development Executive

  • Manage throughput sales and brand performance for your assigned customer portfolio within Nestlé brands.
  • Manage Trade Spend to ensure compliance with budgets defined by the Business Development Manager, categorized by Channel and Category.
  • Ensure Product Distribution & Merchandising Standards are met according to guidelines, including:
    • Compliance with channel must-have-list.
    • Timely implementation of KMA & promotional activities.
    • Adherence to channel planogram and merchandising standards.
    • Maximize POS materials usage and update as needed.
    • Monitor compliance with long-term space buy guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, conducting regular business reviews, and providing product training to retailers and staff.
  • Ensure 100% territory coverage and call frequency as defined, maintain customer database, and practice market hygiene (e.g., FEFO for product freshness).

What will make you successful

  • Education: University Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) or SPM qualification with 5 years of sales experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or sales with proven KPI delivery.
  • Experience in customer management is an advantage.
  • Understanding of all sales functions (CCSD, Customer, Field).
  • Experience managing a Field Sales team.
  • Stakeholder management, solution-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven skills.
