Job description

We’re hiring a Sales Executive with experience in logistics and freight forwarding. You’ll drive new business through market research, client outreach, and solution-based selling. The role involves meeting clients, presenting services, and working closely with the pricing team to stay ahead of market trends.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:

  1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  3. Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  4. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  5. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  6. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  7. Collaborate with pricing team to review the market trend and requirement

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing or related fields.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and business development.
  3. Min 1 year of working experience in transportation industry and sales.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines.
  6. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  7. Proven record of sales success.
  8. Excellent communicator with business writing skills.
