Business Development Executive - KL + East Coast Region

This position covers KL + East Coast Region

Happy Pet Malaysia is currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and acquiring customers to expand our market presence, increase customer base in the assigned area, and achieve business targets and goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute area mapping plans by identifying new accounts and analyzing current and potential new areas to enhance sales coverage.
  2. Maintain and develop existing accounts.
  3. Suggest innovative ideas for brand growth based on market needs.
  4. Monitor and maintain the balance and growth of product distribution within the assigned area.
  5. Assess the condition of each account and plan strategies to meet targets.
  6. Negotiate win-win agreements with customers in line with current strategies.
  7. Provide market condition analysis to the Manager for better market understanding.
  8. Conduct daily visits to existing accounts and undertake business trips within the area.
  9. Propose initiatives such as event activation or marketing programs to support existing accounts if necessary.
  10. Secure appointments with prospective new accounts.
  11. Monitor and support the growth of both existing and new outlets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, preferably within an FMCG organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
