Role Purpose

To drive growth, revenue, customer base, and market penetration for LED Vision’s advanced product line—especially AdvanCTi smart city solutions (CTiTraffic IoT, AI edge cameras, traffic management CTiLight & CTiData etc.)—by identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities, building partnerships, and engage go-to-market strategies set by company

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities for AdvanCTi products & services: smart city platforms, AI/IoT‑enabled traffic/road infrastructure, street lighting networks, etc.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients (government agencies, municipal councils, infrastructure contractors, consultants) to upsell and cross‑sell advanced solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, sales, operations) to shape product offerings, ensure feasibility and adapt technical proposals to meet client requirements.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, presentations and demonstrations; tailor pitches for key stakeholders (public sector, private sector, international clients).
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulations, competitor offerings, technology (IoT, AI edge, smart sensors) and integrate insights into business development.
  • Assist in defining go‑to‑market strategies for new AdvanCTi products or modules (e.g. gateway systems, smart controllers, dashboards etc.).
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs for leads, conversion rate, revenue growth, margin etc.
  • Participate in tenders, bidding process, and contract negotiations.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, workshops, and industry forums to build brand awareness and generate leads.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, or a related field.
  • Experience (2 years or more) in business development / sales / account management of technical / technology‑driven products—ideally in smart city / IoT / LED / infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving KPI in environments involving complex, multi‑stakeholder and technical solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and translate between technical & non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking, market analysis, ability to identify and capture new market segments.
  • Able to follow up leads, proposals, installations and ensure delivery.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, with resilience; able to work independently and in team.
  • Willingness to travel locally
Good to have
  • Knowledge or experience in AI/edge computing, traffic management systems, IoT platforms, smart lighting control networks.
  • Existing contacts or network with government / municipal / infrastructure / smart city projects in Malaysia.
  • Understanding of local regulatory & certification requirements in Malaysia (e.g. standards for traffic lights, street lighting).
