We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. As a BDA, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Utilize various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking to generate new leads.
- Lead Qualification: Conduct thorough research to identify decision-makers and influencers within target organizations. Qualify leads based on specific criteria and ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
- Appointment Setting: Engage prospects through effective communication to schedule high-quality appointments for subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Documenting Meeting Minutes: Accompany SMEs to business meetings, documenting and summarising key communications and discussion points to ensure accurate record-keeping and facilitate follow-up actions.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in our CRM system. Track the progress of leads through the sales funnel.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Position our solutions effectively to address their requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with relevant team members to optimize lead generation strategies, improve processes, and achieve collective sales goals.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and product updates to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Associate, Sales Development Representative, Inside Sales Representative, or similar role in a B2B environment is preferred.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects over the phone, email, and in-person.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and quotas.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
