Drive sales growth, build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and revenue.
The main purpose of the job is primarily responsible for identifying and developing Integrated Logistics Business. Work closely with the Branch Manager, Sales Team, Operation Team, Customer Service Manager, Customs Regulatory Compliance Manager, General Manager Freight Forwarding, and Managing Director to implement strategies to maximize yield from all products and gain a higher business share for GAC within the Malaysian market.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve personal Operating Income target as well as S&M Dept target: 3 times cost to the company from new clients & remaining department target to be generated from existing clients.
Quotation:
40% Quotation Strike Rate
Promptly send quotations to clients and maintain a very close follow-up on all quotations sent out. 40 Quotes per month.
Prepare Weekly Sales Visit Plan:
Enter details of the visit in GAC Sales system.
Target and secure new clients: Secure 4 new clients per month.
Ensure credit approvals: Ensure that credit approvals are in place for all credit clients handled by the sales team. Assist the Finance department in maintaining the receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms.
Prepare a minimal of 10 High Value Targets (HVT) in sales pipeline at all times.
Travel: Able to travel into any part of Malaysia to create GAC awareness in the market.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma in any field or equivalent; a Diploma in Logistics/Import & Export/Transportation would be an advantage.
Possess own transport with Malaysian driving license and willing to travel when required.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Software knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in air/sea/road forwarding services is desirable.
