About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth and expanding our market presence within the financial services industry. As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the strategic objectives of Yours Earning Group Sdn Bhd. Your focus will be on account management and relationship development to ensure sustained client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector to expand the client base and increase revenue
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and engagement
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure new business partnerships
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
• Monitor and report on business development metrics and sales performance
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of financial products and services
• Attend networking events and industry conferences to build professional connections
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities in the customer relationship management system

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the banking or financial services sector
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, and the broader banking industry landscape
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and business development objectives
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated individual with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Proven track record of identifying and converting business opportunities
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and networking events
• Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous
