About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive growth in Sarawak's hospitality sector. This full-time role based in Kuching, Sarawak and will be responsible for driving new business growth and identifying opportunities across the region. If you're great at building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and achieving targets, join our team!

What you'll be doing

Proactively prospecting and sourcing new business leads within the sales industry

Building and managing a pipeline of high-quality prospects through cold calling, networking and maintaining strong relationships

Conducting detailed market research to identify new business opportunities and market trend

Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients

Collaborating cross-functionally with the sales and marketing teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts

Ensuring a seamless transition of new clients to the account management team

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a new business development role, preferably within the sales industry

2+ years in business development or sales (hospitality experience a plus)

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers

Highly motivated and driven to succeed with a consultative selling approach

Able to travel outstation(when needed)

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
