Business Development Executive

About the role

BTA SYSTEM SDN BHD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base in the Simpang Renggam Johor area. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in achieving our strategic objectives and contributing to the long-term success of the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Identify and explore new business opportunities to drive company growth.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
3. Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients or internal management.
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
5. Plan and implement sales strategies to meet company targets.
6. Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting to deal closure.
7. Provide regular updates and performance reports to management.
8. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure high-quality service delivery.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence decision-makers.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data analysis software.
• A self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
• Thorough understanding of the New Business Development industry and its dynamics.
