Business Development Director (Software)

We are seeking a visionary Business Development Director to shape and lead Agmo’s enterprise growth strategy. This strategic leadership role focuses on building high-value partnerships, strengthening go-to-market execution, and mentoring the business development and solutioning teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, with a clear focus on scaling Agmo’s digital transformation solutions across key verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute business development strategies aligned to Agmo’s growth priorities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor moves to refine Agmo’s positioning.
  • Work closely with leadership to evolve core service offerings and strategic partnerships.
  • Guide the Head of BD and solutioning leads in consultative sales techniques.
  • Review and advise on major pursuits, proposals, and strategic client engagements.
  • Support team development through coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance metrics.
Key Client Engagement
  • Participate in C-level meetings and enterprise negotiations when strategic alignment is needed.
  • Oversee account strategies for retention, expansion, and cross-sell opportunities.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
  • Shape Agmo’s ecosystem strategy by identifying and nurturing key cloud, tech, and channel partners.
  • Represent Agmo at major industry events and forums to increase visibility and credibility.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to position Agmo’s solutions in the market.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in business development, consulting, or enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation, enterprise software, or consulting services.
  • Strong understanding of pre-sales and solutioning, especially involving cloud and AI-based solutions.
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Tech, or related field. MBA is a plus.
