A prestigious university in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development cum Trainer to enhance its training and business development efforts. The successful candidate will engage with clients, deliver impactful training sessions and contribute to the university's mission. Ideal for those with a Master’s degree and experience in business development and training.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted markets.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and tenders.
Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.
Serve as the primary contact for all client administrative matters.
Prepare contracts, quotations, reports, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of client communications and training schedules.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support.
Design, develop, and deliver training programs (soft skills, business, leadership).
Conduct training needs analysis and customize content for diverse audiences.
Assess training effectiveness and gather feedback for improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
Minimum Master’s degree in Business, HR, Education, or related field. Those with Bachelor's degree but solid experience in training, teaching pedagogy and curriculum design will be considered.
3–5 years’ experience in business development and/or training.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Confident public speaker with ability to create engaging training materials.
Target-driven, proactive, and client-focused.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
HRDC Certified Trainer (TTT) would be an added advantage.
