Business Development/ Area Manager (Property Management)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand Tropics' market presence.
- Identify potential clients and key stakeholders in the property management sector and build long-term relationships.
- Support the preparation and presentation of proposals, contracts, and bids to prospective clients.
- Participate in client meetings and follow-ups to ensure client needs are addressed effectively.
- Work closely with operational, finance, and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and seamless service delivery.
- Facilitate internal communications to coordinate project execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market analysis, and performance reviews for the Business Development Manager.
- Monitor the effectiveness of sales initiatives and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties to ensure compliance with company standards, statutory requirements, and clients' expectations.
- Lead, support, and monitor on-site management teams to ensure performance, discipline, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to SOPs, risk management policies, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Analyze operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all sites.
- Attend service provider meetings, AGMs, and committee sessions as necessary.
- Review monthly operation and financial reports.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Building and Property Management / Real Estate Management or equivalent field.
- Computer literate.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferably knowledgeable of Strata Management Act 2013.
- Experience in Property Management / Real Estate industry is an advantage.
- Good communication, multi-tasking, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and team player.
