Job description

Purpose of Position
  1. Support the Finance Director (FD) as an effective business partner to control and manage fixed assets, capex spend versus standards and forecasts, including review IR.
  2. Assist FD in cash flow management, including fund transfer and loan management.
  3. Ensure compliance and timely reporting for statutory requirements, Monthly Cognos reporting, tax reporting (including deferred tax), and tax statutory submissions, managing all tax payments.
  4. Support FD in secretarial and insurance management.
  5. Assist with Transfer Price (TP) documentation and TP margin management.
  6. Generate accurate and timely Monthly Consolidated Reporting (MCR) and Consolidated Reporting Pack in coordination with other Business Controllers, adhering to divisional/group timelines.
  7. Maintain ongoing control over the accuracy and data integrity of financial figures.
  8. Support FD in fund control to optimize the use of funds, loans, and facilities, and manage cash flow.
  9. Assist in operational financial management, including closing reporting and cost management.
  10. Support exchange rate analysis and management.
  11. Participate in annual standard costing and quarterly forecasts as needed.
  12. Handle statutory, monthly Cognos, tax reporting, and submissions, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
  13. Support secretarial and insurance management tasks.
  14. Assist with Transfer Price (TP) documentation and margin management.
  15. Support FD as a business partner to control and manage fixed assets, capex, and review IR.
  16. Lead liaison with auditors and manage audit processes.
  17. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for key stakeholders as necessary.
  18. Work independently, reconciling standard costing systems with statutory accounts, supporting manual analysis with legacy systems.
  19. Contribute to learning and supporting the implementation of SAP S4 Hana.

Qualifications and Experience
