The role involves preparing financial reports, participating in planning processes, and supporting merger and acquisition activities. Job description

a) You will work closely with your superior/ project manager on multiple client engagements and will play an active role in all aspects of the engagement.

b) Assist in preparation of financial insights, reports and presentations on timely basis.

c) Participate actively in meetings with clients and/or stakeholders for projects.

d) Participate in certain financial planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with respective clients.

e) Work together with your superior/ project manager to formulate and refine strategies involving merger and acquisition, investments, debt, financial planning, risk management and etc.

f) Assisting in preparing and updating work procedures and materials.

g) Any additional/ ad-hoc task as assigned by your superior.

Requirements:

Education:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and preferably possess professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/MIA.

Working experience:

Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Have relevant working experience would be an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to perform to a variety of math functions with a high degree of accuracy, including ratio and percentage calculations.

Personality:

Be an extremely fast learner, able to take in a large volume of new information and apply it in practice immediately.

Team player, proactive, highly motivated, self-driven, result and future oriented.

Others:

Have a natural interest in merger and acquisition, investments, risk management, financial management and wealth creation.

Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and solutions.

Willingness to travel within Malaysia for extended periods.

Able to start work immediately or in a short notice would be an added advantage.
