Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Business Compliance Officer to uphold regulatory integrity across the bank’s operations. You will work with multiple stakeholders to identify risks and design effective controls to mitigate them.

Key duties include control testing, surveillance for fraud or data loss, escalation of gaps, and support for risk reporting and continuity planning. The role requires a law/business background and 3–5 years in compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess compliance risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.

You'll work collaboratively with business units to identify and assess compliance risks, and develop effective controls to manage these risks. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying potential compliance issues and implementing solutions to address them. What you do* Perform control testing, compliance checks in accordance to guidelines.* Conduct surveillance activities to identify potential frauds, threats or data loss.
