Role Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with business users to understand data and analytics needs.
- Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for data transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements and propose actionable solutions.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Work with data engineers and tech teams to design scalable, compliant data platforms.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management to ensure successful adoption.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making and best practices in analytics.
- Maintain strong relationships across business units, technology, and regulatory teams.
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects, from initiation to deployment.
- Develop project plans, manage timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, BI, data engineering, and vendors.
- Apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies to ensure efficient execution.
- Align with overall program managers to ensure consistency across initiatives.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data PM, ideally in banking, finance, or data-centric roles.
- Familiarity with data modelling, basic SQL, and enterprise data platforms (e.g., DataIku, OAS, Denodo, Feature Store).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in UAT testing and test management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Scrum or Agile.
