Business Analyst (Asst Manager) (24 months contract)

Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The candidate will serve the needs of the Execution & Change Division and have the opportunity to propose and/or implement solutions for the efficiency of Zurich Insurance.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in business analysis responsibilities, operational excellence, and project management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead project resource planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives.
  • Gather and document business requirements (BR Document) with relevant stakeholders. Analyze, review, and improve business processes.
  • Communicate project updates regularly with key stakeholders.
  • Create and review test case scenarios with product owners and system analysts, ensuring requirements are incorporated into testing.
  • Coordinate and manage business analyst tasks within projects, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure quality control before and after delivery to meet high standards of project delivery.
  • Manage overall project responsibilities, including planning resources and timelines for management review.
  • Apply various delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean/Six Sigma.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Life Insurance products or system migration.
  • Experience in relationship management, process improvement, and project management within a corporate setting.
  • Experience with business process re-engineering, digitalization, and automation.
  • Experience in launching new products and distribution channels.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling and analysis tools.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of computer programming concepts.
  • Strong team player with good cultural fit.
  • Understanding of intelligent automation technologies.
  • Experience in insurance or CX/UI/UX domains.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt or PMP certification.
