Business Analyst (Asst Manager)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The candidate will serve the needs of the Execution & Change Division and have the opportunity to propose and/or implement solutions for the efficiency of Zurich Insurance.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in business analysis, operational excellence, and project management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead project resource planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives.
- Gather and document business requirements (BR Document) with relevant stakeholders. Analyze, document, and review business processes and requirements with product owners.
- Communicate project deliverables regularly with key stakeholders.
- Lead creation and review of test case scenarios with product owners and system analysts to ensure requirements are incorporated.
- Coordinate and manage business analyst tasks within projects, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure quality control before and after delivery to achieve higher benchmarks of project delivery.
- Manage overall project delivery responsibilities, including project and resource planning for management review.
- Apply various delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean/Six Sigma.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst in Life Insurance related products or system migration.
- Proven experience in relationship management, business analysis, process improvement, and project management within a corporate environment.
- Experience in business process re-engineering, digitalization, and automation.
- Experience in launching new products and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in business process modeling and analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience with methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Preferred:
- Good understanding of computer programming concepts.
- Team player with a good cultural fit to Zurich.
- Knowledge of intelligent automation technologies.
- Experience in general insurance or CX/UI/UX domains.
- Certifications like Yellow Belt/Green Belt Lean Six Sigma or PMP.
