Requirements:

  • Possess at least a degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related qualification
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in finance and the financial services industry
  • Willing to work under tight deadlines and be results-driven
  • Having a professional qualification is an added advantage
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in business planning or as a business analyst in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good writing skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the AGM, Strategic Planning in facilitating and executing Value-based Intermediary (VBI) initiatives (e.g., VBI scorecard)
  • Conduct detailed analysis including financials, SWOT, market segmentation, customer segmentation, etc., such as monthly banking industry updates and thematic analyses
  • Support the planning process through strategy analysis and formulation
  • Facilitate the development of Corporate Strategy/Direction
  • Support monitoring of initiatives related to GLC Transformation, with updates submitted to the GLC Transformation Office (Khazanah vis-à-vis BHB)
  • Develop and implement guidelines and directions for the execution of initiatives
  • Develop and monitor KPI/Balanced Scorecard Framework and KPIs reporting within CEO-1
  • Provide key insights to rating agencies for review purposes
  • Track business performance and strategies of divisions
  • Assist the AGM, Strategic Planning in all strategic matters and initiatives of Bank Islam
