Job Title: Business Analyst

Experience: 1-3+ years in business analysis and/or development

Location: Kuala Lumpur & Other Locations

Main Responsibilities:

• Understanding business requirements and translating them into functional specifications, test descriptions, and executing system tests.
• Developing and documenting detailed business and functional requirements for IT projects involving applications in Java/Angular and Cobol.
• Supporting departments in functional and technical problem analysis in daily operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Analyzing business processes within banking and finance to recommend improvements.
• Assisting in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT initiatives.
• Monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards in banking and finance.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT development within banking, finance, or asset servicing sectors.
• Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with Java, COBOL, Angular, and SQL.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and test repositories (e.g., Squash).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and business stakeholders.
