Electrolux Group, a leading global appliance company, seeks a Business Analyst in Petaling Jaya to support FP&A with reporting, analysis and business insight. You will prepare daily to annual management reports, build financial models, and drive continuous improvement across processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with finance, HR and IT services across Asia Pacific, ANZ, Middle East and South Africa, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
• 2+ years of experience within Finance/Accounting and/or Business Analysis.
• Experience in financial analysis is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; Power BI is a merit.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in business planning and review processes with analytical support for internal customers.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to deliver insights on operational trends.
• Perform in-depth analysis of critical business activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Participate in annual forecasts and budgets, including quantitative modelling.
• Assist with daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules and automate reporting processes.
• Contribute to workforce and operational management reporting and planning.
• Assist with other ad hoc FP&A tasks.

All about the role

As a Business Analyst, you are part of the backbone delivering the managerial reporting within the FP&A Centre of Excellence Organization, as well as driving in-depth analysis of the results. In a dynamic and fast-moving environment, you act as a financial advisor by providing decision‑making support, business intelligence, and financial performance reporting. You are responsible for preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly management reports (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), conducting in-depth analysis, and participating in continuous improvement efforts across our processes.

What you'll do

• Play a key role in the business planning and review processes, providing analytical and strategic support to internal customers throughout the business.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to deliver insights on operational trends within the business.
• Perform in-depth analysis of critical business activities and business units in order to determine upcoming business opportunities and risks.
• Participate in the creation of annual forecasts and budgets, as well as advanced quantitative analysis and financial models.
• Assist with the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting schedules, as well as automating reporting processes.
• Play a strategic role in the reporting and planning of the company’s workforce and operational management.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks to ensure the FP&A team manages its deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
• Experience 2+ years within Finance function (Finance & Accounting and/or Business Analysis).
• Previous financial analysis experience would be an asset.
• Excellence in MS Office suite (especially Excel), Power BI is a strong merit.
• Fluency in English (business English)
• Strong analytical skills
• Highly proactive and self-motivated team player with great social and communication skills.
• Tech savvy with strong interest in financial systems.
