We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our international team based in Kuala Lumpur. This hybrid role is focused on supporting the development and continuous improvement of internal digital solutions, including web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder collaboration within Agile software development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales team and internal stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate business needs into functional digital solutions.
- Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
- Define and document clear and detailed user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment with business goals.
- Support the design, development, and improvement of internal systems and mobile/web-based applications.
- Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews, actively collaborating with developers, testers, and solution architects.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business value delivery, especially within the manufacturing process context.
- Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools to support Agile delivery and documentation.
Requirements (Must-Have):
- 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments.
- Proven experience working across the full SDLC in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Proficiency in writing and managing user stories, backlog items, and functional documentation.
- Experience working on mobile applications and web-based internal systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills – ability to align global teams.
- Experience in international and cross-functional environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Business-level fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model – minimum 3 days per week onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
