As a Business Analyst specializing in the aerospace industry, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence within our organization's aerospace division. You will analyze market trends, customer requirements, and operational data to provide insights that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation. Your expertise in aerospace business processes, regulations, and technologies will be essential in identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and optimizing performance across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the aerospace industry.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, market share, and product offerings to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.
  • Analyze customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behaviors to drive product development and marketing strategies.

Financial Analysis and Performance Metrics:

  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, costs, and profitability, to assess the performance of aerospace projects and business units.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and margin improvement through data-driven analysis.

Project Management and Performance Tracking:

  • Support aerospace projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful outcomes.

Business Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in aerospace business processes.
  • Propose and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Leverage data analytics and technology solutions to optimize supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and aftermarket services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst or management consultant in the aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace business processes, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial analysis, data modeling, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools, ERP systems, and project management software.
  • Experience with aerospace project management methodologies, such as Earned Value Management (EVM) or Agile, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must Have - experience in sourcing, supply chain with Aerospace companies.
