Job summary

Tan Chong Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to support Bus & Chassis assembly activities, KD kit operations, and quality control across local plants. You will coordinate with King Long's overseas factory and suppliers to maintain production flow and high standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in automotive assembly, reading technical drawings, and strong problem-solving, with travel as needed to overseas sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering.
4–6 years of automotive assembly experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

KD Kit & Factory Coordination: Support KD kit assembly matters with King Long and ensure SOP compliance.
Assembly Technical Support: Advise local plants on assembly instructions, variant changes, and engineering resolutions.
Production & Supply Coordination: Coordinate local supply components to ensure smooth production and monitor progress.
Quality & Issue Management: Respond quickly to quality issues and drive corrective actions with Engineering and After-Sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering, Production, After-Sales, Procurement, and overseas factory.
