Overview

We are looking for a Building Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of handling maintenance and repair work for building facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building’s electrical, plumbing, and LV/HV facility equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems as per schedule.
• Supervise and monitor external contractors working on-site.
• Assist in coordinating special projects as directed by the Building Manager/Executive.
• Report any unusual occurrences, damages, or potential issues to the Building Manager/Executive.
• Ensure safety compliance in all maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks, including air-conditioning, electrical issues, carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and structural works.
• Meet deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
• Be on 24-hour stand-by call for assigned sites.
• Maintain proper records of daily tasks in a logbook.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in building maintenance or a related role.
• Knowledge in M&E, plumbing, and general maintenance works.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Willing to be on call and respond to emergency maintenance work when required.
