Building Maintenance Technician cum OSH Coordinator

Perform daily maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive upkeep on facility systems such as HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection systems, pumps, plumbing, and building structure.

Oversee building condition and support utility systems (compressed air, water tanks, etc.).

Conduct facility inspections, identify faults, and carry out corrective actions.

Monitor and supervise external contractors for facility-related repair or improvement works.

OSHC Duties

Serve as the designated Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator (OSHC) registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health).

Implement and maintain workplace safety and health programs in compliance with Malaysian OSH laws.

Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC), identify workplace hazards, and propose corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, inspection forms, and training documentation.

Coordinate and lead emergency drills such as fire drills and first aid training.

Ensure all safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, fire hose reels) are inspected and maintained.

Act as the point of contact during internal and external OSH audits (e.g., DOSH, Bomba, ISO).
