WORLD CLASS LAND (GEORGETOWN) HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. in Georgetown, Penang, seeks a hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building facilities, ensure safety and smooth operations.

You will coordinate with contractors and perform on-site maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in building maintenance or facilities management, knowledge of preventive maintenance, and familiarity with DOSH/DOE safety regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in building maintenance, facilities management, property maintenance, or related field.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Familiar with DOSH and DOE regulations and safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance works.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to perform hands-on maintenance work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform defects and maintenance, repairing and coordinate tasks such as pumps, plumbing, gas, lift, building and equipment within the group of properties to ensure all are in good working order and compliant with hotel/ leasing regulations.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of building maintenance and provide recommendations and solutions to Management.
• Coordinate with contractors and monitor maintenance works on site.
• Ensure building facilities are safe, clean, and in good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain simple records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
