Responsible for reviewing and accepting BIM deliverables, verifying model compliance and monitoring all related submissions from the Consultant and Contractors. This role ensures that the submitted BIM models meet project requirements and provides technical guidance on BIM workflows, submission processes and contractual compliance.
Tasks:
Assist in reviewing and verifying BIM deliverables submitted by consultants and contractors.
Perform model audits using Navisworks, ACC and other BIM review tools to check compliance with the project’s EIR, BEP and national BIM standards.
Track BIM compliance progress and report non-conformities to the BIM Manager.
Verify that BIM models meet asset information handover requirements, including LOD 500, COBie or GIS integration.
Act as the liaison between project teams and external BIM consultants to resolve issues related to model submissions.
Manage model submission processes on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ensuring proper document versioning, approvals and audit trails.
Maintain BIM acceptance documentation and records, ensuring a clear audit trail for approvals and rejections.
Prepare monthly BIM progress reports, highlighting submission status, compliance issues and delays.
Assist in reviewing projects’ Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Master Implementation Program (MIP) documents to ensure BIM deliverables follow the agreed project schedule.
Assist in preparing supporting documentation for VO, EOT and other contractual issues related to BIM services.
Ensure all BIM-related contractual changes are properly documented in collaboration with the Legal and Contract departments.
Review all technical documents submitted by consultants or contractors, including technical reports, specifications, design drawings, tender documents and any other documents related to BIM projects.
Prepare the relevant Terms of Reference (TOR) for the appointment of engineering consultants for projects involving BIM requirements.
Provide input to other departments, divisions and companies for work components related to BIM.
Identify improvements and propose solutions to support the company’s business and government direction on BIM.
Attend project meetings and prepare the minutes of meetings.
Hand over completed projects to Water Operators.
Prepare letters, memos, reports and other documentation related to BIM implementation.
Perform other tasks as instructed from time to time by Management and/or immediate Superior.
Requirements:
Recognized Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field;
At least 5 years’ experience in BIM adoption in Design & Construction Works.
Possess relevant certifications in BIM software and technologies such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, Revit, Dynamo or Naviswork.
Experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) is mandatory.
Experience in BIM modelling for water supply system is an added advantage.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is required;
Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential;
The candidate should be creative and energetic;
Being self-motivated, analytical, resourceful and having strong integrity are important qualities; and
A good working attitude and willingness to travel are expected.

Construct, refurbish, improve, upgrade, maintain and repair water infrastructure and all other assets in relation to the water systems.
Source and obtain competitive financing for the development of the nation's water assets and lease such assets to water operators licensed by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara(SPAN) for operations and maintenance.
Assist SPAN to restructure the nation's water industry towards achieving the Government's vision for efficient and quality water services.
The Company has an authorised capital of RM1 billion and currently, the paid-up capital is at RM730 million.
