We're hiring! We are looking for a Broking Support & Servicing, Assistant Manager (Professional Indemnity Insurance) to join our team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like

Responsible for supporting the Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) Scheme Lead in overseeing the overall administration and client servicing of the PII Scheme for lawyers.

This includes:

Liaising with lawyers and law firms on their policy renewals and administration and ensuring all policies are renewed before deadline

Following up on renewal quotations that require further review

Advising lawyers and law firms on terms and conditions of policies

Advising lawyers and law firms on details of product offerings and benefits

Assist in developing marketing and technical campaign plans, including the organizing of events related to the Scheme

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve/enhance systems and processes

Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective administration of the Scheme

Providing any other additional support and assistance as may be required to successfully execute the PII Scheme

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Education & Qualifications/ Expected Experiences

A degree in any discipline - preferably LL.B, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or ACII

At least 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry as broker and/or insurer

Fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia

Possess BCCITB certification or must complete BCCITB certification upon joining

Operationally efficient and sound


Skills & Knowledge

Relevant working experience in the broking / insurance industry

Demonstrate proactive-ness and results-driven attitude in past work

Experienced in client service / account handling

Independent, positive personality

Good English language, communication, and interpersonal skills

Good Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office application
