As a Broadcast Journalist, you will have the exciting opportunity to report news stories and deliver compelling content for television.
Research, gather, and verify information for news stories, focusing on current affairs, politics, and the economy.
Write and prepare scripts for television news reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards.
Conduct interviews with relevant individuals, experts, and eyewitnesses to gather insights and quotes for news stories.
Present news reports in a clear, confident, and engaging manner while adhering to professional broadcasting standards.
Collaborate with the production team to develop visually appealing news segments, incorporating multimedia elements when necessary.
Stay updated with the latest news developments and emerging trends in the BM/English media landscape.
Maintain high ethical standards in reporting and adhere to the principles of fair and unbiased journalism.

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field.
Relevant certifications in journalism or media studies.
Preferably, 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in journalism or broadcast media.
Applicants must have C1-level proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Strong portfolio of published articles, reports, or multimedia content.
Strong research and fact-checking abilities to ensure accuracy.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, to cover breaking news or live events.
A nose for the news and a keen interest in current affairs, including politics and the economy.
Knowledge of AP style or other journalistic writing guidelines.
