The role

Dura Technology Sdn Bhd, a leading engineering firm in Malaysia, is seeking a talented Bridge Junior / Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Bridge Junior / Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and construction of innovative bridge structures that shape the future of infrastructure development in the region.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct structural analysis and design of bridges, overpasses, and other transportation infrastructure
2. Develop detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for bridge projects
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction professionals, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery
4. Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during the construction phase
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in bridge engineering
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and the development of innovative solutions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bridge design and construction (for Junior Engineer) or 5-10 years of experience (for Senior Engineer)
• Expertise in structural analysis software, such as Midas Civil, AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with local and international bridge design codes and regulations
