Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• 8 to 13 years site experience in supervision of bridge works.
• Familiar with highway, bridge, drainage, earthworks, and structural works.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising bridge construction works on site.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Check and verify contractor's work progress, measurements, and site records.
• Support quality control and ensure workmanship meets projects requirements.
• Assist in SHET (Safety, Health, Environment, and Traffic) compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and other consultants for smooth work execution.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports, site diaries, and technical documentation.
• Highlight non-compliance issues and follow up on corrective actions.
