Job summary

RT Pastry Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a bakery assistant to prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking and decorating as appropriate.

You will read recipes, follow procedures, ensure quality, and store utensils properly while complying with food safety and hygiene policies.

The role may involve lifting heavy items and performing other duties as assigned; RT Pastry has 16 outlets and a vision for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking and decorating as appropriate.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job description
