We are looking for a Brand Manager (Nutrition) to increase brand competitiveness of key brands, products and projects in line with the Company objectives in the OPL and business plan and our commitment to Breast Feeding and WHO Code.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager (Nutrition)…

  • Manage product portfolio, set pricing strategies and ensure supply chain plans are in line with the brand plan and key OPL objectives.
  • Manage the timely preparation of annual OPL plans, revisions and dynamic forecast. Develop product portfolio in line with WHO code, the Malaysian code and regulatory standards.
  • Identify gaps pertaining to product formulation, communication, price, availability, visibility and aspects relevant to achieving superiority against competition, recommend and negotiate for innovation/renovation initiatives in coordination with Nestlé Nutrition and local technical support, and drive the realization of new product development projects.
  • Manage the brand’s communication to HCPs and product development and PFME budgets.
  • Understand the portfolio’s market competitiveness and target consumers, translate the understanding into proprietary insights to strategize and develop quantified and measurable brand plans.
  • Propose, implement and oversee projects that deliver benefits according to HCPs needs.
  • Clearly identify and communicate effectively brand priorities to the Nutrition Field Force, Category Manager, Account Managers, pharmacy agent and Nestlé Sales function.
  • Ensure all activities are in strict compliance with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes, Nestlé Instructions and Malaysian code, and integrate promotion of breastfeeding in brand-related communication/ activities.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, Dietetics or Health Science is preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in Consumer Marketing and/or CCSD with field sales experience or exhibits strong functional skill.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of nutrition/pharmaceutical brands, products and projects
  • Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Has had experience working in a team and working with cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrable record of success in building brands based on consumer insights.
  • Has developed and implemented business strategies aimed at increasing brand competitiveness for infant nutrition products.
