A leading company in the fashion retail sector is seeking a Brand Manager responsible for brand development, sales performance, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to motivate and train staff. This role includes conducting market forecasts and maintaining profitability through effective operations.

Qualifications

Planning the marketing & promotion strategy

Ensure that general costs of carrying out retail operations are minimized

Possess and provide Management with updated and accurate information on consumers' buying trends

Plan and streamline the brand operation to be more effective and efficient

RETAIL OPERATIONS

Conduct regular sales training and information updates for floor staff

Conduct regular store visits

Must be highly self-motivated, to be on the selling floor to motivate staff.

EXPERIENCE

Must have experience in buying

Must be analytical and good in numbers

Keeping abreast of the latest cosmetic trends and constantly conducting consumers' opinion survey

Forecasting prices & market trend is the key

CORE SKILLS REQUIRED

Analyzing consumer buying pattern and predicting future trends

Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels

Ensure to maintain good profitability

Managing plans for stock levels ie: buy sharp and maintaining a healthy stock level

Reacting to changes

Meeting suppliers and have strong negotiation skills

Understanding of rules of principal management, allocation and price negotiation

Plan and participating in promotional activities

Giving product knowledge training

Requirements

Minimum 5 - 10 years of brand management experience in the fashion retail business

Positive team player and result oriented person

Pleasant personality with excellent communication skills to communicate with all levels of staffs and customers

Willing to travel and possess own transport

Must have experience in buying, retail store operation and brand management

Must be analytical and proficient in financial numbers
