Job summary

3cat is hiring a Design Intern (Brand & Community) in Kuala Lumpur to help shape how the brand appears online and offline. You will build digital and retail design assets, respond to social inquiries, and maintain brand consistency while learning from our marketing team and CMO.

We welcome curious, quick learners with a portfolio in digital/print design; familiarity with Canva and Adobe tools is ideal. This paid internship runs on-site for a minimum of 3 months.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in design, multimedia arts, advertising or related field with a portfolio.
• Portfolio covers digital and print work; retail, POSM, packaging or event graphics a strong plus.
• Confident using Canva; working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign.
• Understand bleed, CMYK, dielines and large-format print production.
• Comfort writing short-form replies in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian internet and retail culture; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Digital & Social Creative: support campaign assets, paid creatives, marketplace visuals and day-to-day digital design.
• Retail & Activation Design: create POSM, signage, hoardings, event, roadshow and in-store materials; coordinate with printers.
• Community Engagement: respond to comments/enquiries across social channels and escalate when needed.
• Brand Consistency: ensure all work aligns with the 3cat brand.
• Templates & Brand Assets: maintain Canva templates, reply guidelines and brand asset library.
