Job description

Brand and Communication Manager (based in Melaka)

The Role plays a critical role in shaping and maintaining a company’s brand image and messaging. This position involves ensuring that the brand's voice is consistent, clear, and resonates with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will play an important role in:

· Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and Production team to ensure consistent messaging aligned with business goals.

· Promoting positive brand positioning through all internal and external communications.

· Strengthen brand attributes and values across all communication channels.

· Provide strategic direction for communication plans, identifying innovative opportunities, particularly in the digital space.

· Develop rich, engaging content that can be repurposed across various communication platforms to maximize impact and efficiency.

· Work closely with businesses and customers to create case studies as proof points.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to execute campaigns.

· Support the local marketing team in creating marketing collateral.

· Lead the development of global projects and campaigns, ensuring smooth deployment to local teams.

· Conduct competitor market research and analysis for the category.

· Create unique selling propositions and strategies to differentiate the brand.

· Coordinate the creation of all marketing and promotional materials as needed.

· Oversee product forecasting and ordering to meet sales objectives.

· Prepare monthly sales reports and post-sales analysis.

· Be a team player with a positive attitude, dynamic, creative, and self-driven

· Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Be proactive, independent, and willing to travel both locally and internationally when required.

· Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure.

· Execute special assignments as requested by management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

ü Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.

ü Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in public relations, media relations or corporate communications with team management experience preferred.

ü Strong understanding of media operations and public relations tools.

ü Experience with social media and e-commerce would be an advantage.

ü Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

ü Creative and strategic thinker, with a keen eye for detail and a solutions-oriented approach.

ü Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
