Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve branch growth and performance targets.
Lead, mentor, and train branch staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Oversee both Sales and Project Delivery for the Sarawak Region on a daily basis.
Analyze branch performance data and report on key metrics to senior management.
Monitor branch financial performance, including budgets, reports, and KPIs.
Lead Licensing, Project, Site, and Project Development functions for solar and green energy project implementation.
Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects and identify opportunities with new contractors.
Provide technical support for review and preparation of proposals, including customer meetings during project development stages.
Provide technical direction during project kick-off, testing, PV system commissioning, and performance monitoring.
Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for the branch to meet financial objectives.
Lead project budget control with detailed BQ understanding and identify cost improvement opportunities through value engineering for closed-won projects.
Lead and motivate the sales team to meet sales targets and participate in tender submissions.
Prepare quarterly project delivery plans and coordinate with key stakeholders across departments to ensure project outcomes align with forecasts.
Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the branch team.
Requirements
Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Construction industries.
Proven leadership experience of at least 2-3 years.
Experience managing Solar PV projects is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Power BI, Power Automate, and other project management tools is advantageous.
Ability to lead, multitask, and perform effectively within tight deadlines.
Willing to travel or relocate for projects across Sarawak and other Borne regions.
