Overview

BOM Engineer / Process Configuration Engineer role involving tight collaboration with engineering teams throughout the product development process, BOM management in PLM and MES/SAP systems, ECO coordination, and data traceability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Tight collaboration with the engineering teams throughout the product development process.
• Tracking project progress in PLM Teamcenter against the product development schedule.
• Monitoring new and non-conformance material disposition prior to the received change notification.
• Coordinating with other functions to resolve ECO activity such as NPI, immediate change notice, and engineering deviation waiver.
• Tracking and following up on the engineering builds.
• Monitoring part and document status, generating reports, uploading drawings and routing ECO approval notification for cross functions. Responsible for inputting bill of materials (BOM) per the new product introduction (NPI) process and sustaining into MES and SAP systems.
• Responsible for meeting customer demand and ECO exposures.
• Involvement in quarterly internal audits conducted by the quality survey team.
• Contribute and support data traceability improvement on MES.
• Manage and assign task execution for every ECO to each function through ETCD.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Bachelor or higher in Electronics, Mechanical or similar major.
2. 5 years working experience in manufacturing & quality assurance.
3. Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF16949.
4. Ability to assist and review documents.
5. Excellence in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Minitab.
6. Working independently and with minimum supervision.
7. Show strong leadership and self-driven motivation to achieve excellent results.
