1. Maintain daily up-to-date records for management evaluation and information purposes by collecting or logging data into designated log sheets.

2. Perform routine maintenance on boiler equipment and systems.

3. Control and monitor boiler operation to ensure all parameters are within safe limits.

4. Monitor boiler system operation to ensure safety and proper functioning; facilitate periodic boiler cleaning.

5. Troubleshoot issues on designated machines and rectify problems.

6. Assist the maintenance crew in support activities.

7. Accompany authorities during official equipment inspections.

8. Conduct routine chemical analysis of water and fuel levels.

9. Ensure water storage tanks are sufficient and safe for boiler operation.

10. Be familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

11. Collaborate with the Shift Manager and FHS staff for correct fiber feeding to the boiler.

12. Comply strictly with company rules and regulations.

13. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at all times.

14. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all equipment based on manufacturers’ recommendations.

15. Monitor power plant operations during shifts safely.

16. Experience in palm oil mill and power plant is an advantage.

17. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures as required by FMA/DOSH/EC.
