A leading company in waste oil manufacturing is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage steam supply and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The role involves optimizing production processes, managing shift work, and training new employees. Ideal candidates will have technical certifications and experience in boiler operations.
Ensure that steam is supplied continuously as per requirements for the plants to run at optimal operating condition
Identify any leakages along the steam lines to reduce wastage of energy
Optimize DTP steam production before resorting to package boiler for steam supply to the plants
Maintain the quality of burnt clay (processed POZZOLAN ) and meets the required minimum specifications
Administer and plan the manpower for shift work for smooth running of the plant
Manage the workforce during any breakdown or emergency shutdown.
Ensure all subordinates use proper PPE especially when working in hazardous condition
Ensure the record keeping and sampling is done properly for quality analysis
Liaise with subordinates to understand and solve problems arising
Represent DTP and package boiler when liaising with other departments for repair works, troubleshooting, quality reassurance etc. to ensure optimum condition of the boilers
Screen, plan and authorize other works in areas inside the plant accordingly with minimum downtime or zero disturbance.
Update the daily boiler man logbook on all activities carried out in both DTP and Package Boiler.
Complete the Shift Report and summarize Daily Report Book.
Train newly recruited employees of boiler basics including safety at the working place
Follow up on the progress of each new subordinate and test their knowledge in their area of work
To operate, monitor, maintain, and trouble-shoot air pollution control facility.
Work involves responsibility for the technical aspects, compliance with Department of Environment (DOE) operating regulations, and facilities system.
Maintain performance monitoring for bag filter
Execute daily operation by following ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ to reduce risks when working
Prepare incident reports for any incident involving people, company properties or production loss inside the premise within 24 hours for immediate action
Ensure all emissions from the premise are in specification of the required standards for a healthy environment
To comply all requirements of the systems
To update the record and documentation for the system.
