Qualifications

• Must hold a Grade 1 Boiler Operator Certificate issued by the Machinery Department.
• Experience in boiler and auxiliary equipment M&I works.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CG Boiler, Wastewater Evaporator, and auxiliary machinery.
• Ensure operations and maintenance are performed according to instructions.
• Coordinate with Engineering Executive on M&I activities.

• Ensure all equipment and machinery in the plant operate at higher efficiency and conform to safety standards & regulations.
• Ensure all operations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment in the plant are performed according to instructions.
• Assist Engineering Executive in upgrading and improving machine performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise CG Boiler, Wastewater Evaporator, Decanter, Dewatering press, Air heater, and all auxiliary machinery, including steam and wastewater management.
• Supervise firefighting equipment and fire pump operation and maintenance.
• Supervise all energy supply except electricity.
• Handle general matters within the scope of the boiler house.
• Allocate work and duty roster for all firemen & boilermen under his charge.
• Ensure all spare parts are up-to-date.
• Periodically check the duties performed by boilermen/firemen during irregular hours.
• Regularly review the log sheets of all operational equipment.
• Ensure all steam distribution systems and fittings are in good condition.
• Distribute M&R work to respective fitters via AMM.
• Coordinate with Engineering Executive on all M&R activities.
• Ensure correct storage and dosing of chemicals for boilers.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all areas under his control.
• Monthly inventory check of chemical stocks for water analysis and boiler dosing.
• Perform other related tasks as instructed by superiors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold a Grade 1 Boiler Operator Certificate issued by the Machinery Department.
• Experience in boiler and auxiliary equipment M&I works.
