Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Boiler Operator to operate and maintain boiler systems. The successful candidate will ensure a reliable steam supply and maintain safety compliance. Candidates must have a Diploma, a Boilerman Grade 1 certificate, and relevant experience in the manufacturing or food industry. This role requires bilingual proficiency in Malay and English.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of boiler hands-on operation experience in manufacturing/production, preferably in food industry.
• Must be able to work extra hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers and ancillary equipment safely.
• Ensure a reliable steam supply to the production plant.
• Maintain operational records and cleanliness of the boiler house.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company regulations.

• Operate and maintain boilers and ancillary equipment in a safe and compliant manner
• Ensure a reliable and uninterrupted steam supply to the production plant
• Maintain operational records and complete checklists
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the boiler house and work areas
• Ensure the steam line system is in good condition and assist in proper startup and shutdown procedures
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company regulations and procedures
• Support utilities operation and maintenance activities as necessary
• Actively involved in preventive maintenance of boiler during shutdown and JKKP yearly renewal
• Register boilerman license with the company to meet regulatory compliance under DOSH Malaysia
• Establish and maintain spare parts requirements and availability to minimize breakdown time
• Establish and maintain spare parts and storage activities are in order including ordering, inventory checking, record keeping, and workshop cleanliness and safety

Job specification

• Diploma in any field
• Certified in Boilerman Grade 1 certificate issued by JKKP Malaysia
• At least 2 years of boiler hands-on operation experience in manufacturing/production field, preferably in the food industry
• Able to write and speak in Malay and English
• Must be able to work extra hours, including weekends and public holidays, odd hours, rotating shifts, and be available on call at any time
• Must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan
