Job summary

RHB Insurance Berhad is seeking a motivated Claims Executive (Third Party Bodily Injury) to assess, manage, and settle insurance claims in a timely and compliant manner. You will work with customers, branches, adjusters, intermediaries, and reinsurers to deliver effective claims resolution and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher education in a related discipline is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Verify, assess, and approve claims within delegated authority limits.
• Process and submit claims exceeding authority to the appropriate approving authority.
• Ensure adjusters are appointed promptly within the stipulated turnaround time.
• Monitor claims handled by adjusters and review monthly bordereaux reports.
• Coordinate with adjusters on complex or contentious claims as needed.
• Attend monthly bordereaux meetings to review claim progress and outstanding matters.
• Provide technical claims guidance and support to subordinates and stakeholders.
• Escalate complaints to the Unit Head for prompt resolution.
• Conduct periodic reviews of claim files to ensure proper documentation.
