Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Chargeman BO 33kV to maintain and repair the 33kV electrical infrastructure on-site in Selangor. You will oversee switchgear, transformers and protection systems, ensuring uptime and safety compliance.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in electrical maintenance with BO 33kV systems, a BO 33kV certification, and fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English. Mandarin is a plus; the position is fully on-site at Lembah Beringin area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical maintenance with BO 33kV systems.
• BO 33kV certification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu & English (Mandarin a plus).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete 33kV electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers and protection systems.
• Perform operational duties and troubleshooting.
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure electrical system uptime and asset life; conduct switching operations and maintain safety documents (PTW) per ST codes.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with the power supply provider for outages and inspections.
• Maintain all servicing logs and documentation per licensing and audit requirements.
• Provide support to facility management to ensure stable and efficient building power supply.

Chargeman BO 33kv

Remunerations:

Up to RM10,000

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Maintenance & Repair: Oversee the complete 33kV electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers and protection systems.
• 2. Repair & Troubleshooting: Performing operational duties and troubleshooting.
• 3. Safety Compliance: Implement scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure electrical system uptime and asset life. Conduct all switching operations and administer safety documents (PTW) in full compliance with ST safety codes. Perform regular equipment inspections, thermal imaging scans and load analyses to predict and prevent failures.
• 4. Emergency Response: Act as the primary technical liaison with the incoming power supply provider for supply-related activities, joint inspections and planned outages.
• 5. Documentation: Maintain all servicing logs and documentation as per ST licensing and audit requirements.
• 6. Operational Flexibility: Provide support to the facility management team to ensure stable and efficient building power supply.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical maintenance with BO 33kV systems
• BO 33kv certified
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu & English (Mandarin is a plus)
