Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a skilled Blue Prism developer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to build and optimize automations that reduce manual work and ensure reliable business processes. You will collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and cross-functional teams through design, development, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of IT development experience, including at least 2 years in Blue Prism.
• Experience building or enhancing Blue Prism processes and business objects.
• Knowledge of work queues, exception handling and environment variables.
• Experience with control rooms, scheduling, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience across requirements, design, testing and deployment.
• Ability to explain technical issues and collaborate with business and technology colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build Blue Prism processes and reusable business objects.
• Translate business requirements into practical automation solutions.
• Use work queues, exception handling and recovery logic to ensure reliable processing.
• Conduct unit testing, support SIT/UAT and help deploy changes into production.
• Monitor bots, troubleshoot incidents and resolve recurring issues.
• Integrate enterprise applications and data sources.
• Maintain documentation and follow development, security and governance standards.
