Role Overview
Pico Play is a global leader in themed entertainment design and construction. From our Kuala Lumpur office, we develop and deliver world‑class themed environments, attractions, and immersive spaces. Our work blends artistry, technical detail, and innovation across every stage of production.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed Revit models for themed environments, props, show sets, sculpted elements, and architectural interfaces.
- Develop families, components, and structured model content suitable for fabrication and construction.
- Produce high‑quality documentation including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and details directly from BIM models.
- Ensure drawings follow company standards, naming conventions, and project workflows.
- Model irregular or creative geometry based on concept sketches, artwork, or designer input.
- Apply technical judgement to ensure themed elements are buildable and compatible with structural/MEP systems.
- Assist senior BIM staff and coordinators with clash detection processes (Navisworks or equivalent).
- Organise model data, shared coordinates, and file structures in accordance with project requirements.
- Work alongside concept artists, 3D modellers, engineers, and project managers to refine models and ensure design intent is preserved.
- Incorporate design updates, markups, and feedback efficiently into models and drawings.
- Provide updated digital drawings and model exports for fabrication teams when required.
- Assist in revising documentation during installation or construction stages.
