Job description

Job Responsibility

• Collaborate with Project Engineer and project team to deliver accurate BIM models for ongoing construction projects
• Develop, manage, and update detailed 2D/3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other BIM software to ensure accurate design and as-built construction plans related to the scope of works
• Prepare, coordinate, and integrate BIM models from various disciplines to identify, perform clash analysis, and resolve issues prior to the construction phase
• Generate and manage BIM and construction drawings (e.g., shop drawings, elevations, construction details, as-built drawings) to ensure proper documentation and version control
• Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical support, updates, and gather feedback on modelling tasks during the project phase
• Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards
• Support the project team in extracting information and generating reports from the BIM model
• Assist Project Engineer and Sales Manager in drawing reviews and bill of materials calculations for tender exercises
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments within the company
• Perform any other relevant departmental duties as assigned by department managers
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3â5 years of experience in industrial or construction work, with experience in technical drawings production, BIM modeling, and related engineering areas
• Proficient and experienced in using AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, and BIM360
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry BIM standards and protocols
• Able to communicate effectively and work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
