About the role

Xin Networks Sdn Bhd is ICT Data Center Cabling company and we are seeking a talented BIM Modeller Cum Drafter to join our team on a contract basis in Johor Bahru/Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and drafting engineering drawings to support our clients' diverse projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

What you'll be doing

Develop and update detailed BIM models using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit

Generate 2D and 3D engineering drawings, plans, and schematics from the BIM models

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the BIM models and drawings

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our BIM and drafting processes and standards

Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed

Maintain detailed documentation and records of all BIM and drafting activities

Produce ICT shop drawing submission and As built drawing during project completion.

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modelling and engineering drafting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry

Proficiency in using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software, as well as AutoCAD and other CAD tools

Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, building codes, cable tray, cable basket, cable trunking and cable ladder.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

A relevant diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
