A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a BIM Modeller to support their mission of developing BIM culture and procedures. The role involves creating and maintaining project setups in REVIT and collaborating in a team to ensure adherence to quality standards. Ideal candidates are equipped with a professional certificate or minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields, particularly in mechanical engineering, and possess proficiency in various CAD software.
Possess at least a professional certificate or diploma
If professional certificate or diploma is not available, a minimum of 5 years working experience is required
Working experience in mechanical engineering is an advantage
Demonstrates proficiency in software related to BIM, including REVIT
Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD and ZWCAD
Able to execute architectural drawing is an advantage
Able to execute video rendering is an advantage
Able to execute well in Excel, Word and Power Point
Job Description:
Assists in developing and implementing strategic vision, planning, and deployment of office’s BIM culture/philosophy.
Assists to develop and implement ideas for improvement of BIM procedures, processes, and standards (develops standards manual, project templates, etc.).
Assists to research, develop and propose implementation of innovative solutions that maximize the capabilities of the available technology.
To create initial REVIT Project setup with workflow documents.
To set up new BIM files for each project and prepare for production team.
Work as part of a Revit/CAD support team to develop technical and graphic standards.
Develop and maintain Revit family content (families such as parametric, formula, nested and type catalogues) and content library.
Work with all disciplines’ vendors on content download and update to appropriate Standards.
Support linked views in multiple model situations.
